THE PETITION

We're gathering signatures for a letter to Richard Masters, CEO of the Premier League, asking that he cancel the games scheduled in New Jersey, Chicago, and Atlanta this summer.

In the present political climate, bringing players, coaches, referees, and staff from overseas poses a threat to their safety at the border and in the streets of the United States.

Personnel, particularly personnel of color, risk detainment, arrest, interrogation, detention, and deportation at the hands of US customs and immigration agencies.

THE BOYCOTT

We're asking fans not to enter the stadiums on match day. Instead, we will be gathering outside to protest Premier League complicity with US fascism and the recklessness of bringing players, coaches, referees, and staff from around the world to the United States while the government exercises a campaign to rid the country of foreigners.

If you already bought tickets, don't sell them! Our goal is for the stadiums to be empty, and your nonattendance will send a message to the League that while fascism is afoot in the United States, the game must not go on.

We encourage people attending the protest to bring signs with family friendly messages expressing your disapproval of US fascism and the Premier League's complicity with it at the expense of the people who make the matches happen.

The matches take place on the following dates:

  • July 26 - Metlife Stadium, Rutherford, NJ

  • July 30 - Soldier Field, Chicago, IL

  • Aug 3 - Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA

CONNECT WITH YOUR CLUB

In addition to petitioning at the League level, we are also organizing club committees to attempt to influence players, coaches, and other personnel to join the campaign against these matches.

We are picking one player or coach per team to try to push the rest of the locker room to joining the campaign. Click the buttons below to see a sample letter and to sign up to be connected to other fans of your club.
